Not many furniture designs are as iconic as the chairs designed by Charles & Ray Eames - considered by many to be the pioneers of modern, industrial design. In alot of ways, their design philosophy has influenced us at Kranki Kraft in alot of ways. We're huge fans of Eames' clean lines, thoughtful design and innovative use of materials. We also love that local furniture store Lorgan's carries a very desirable range of replica furniture by some of the best designers of the 20th Century at seriously reasonable prices.

This is it

After weeks of mulling over drawings, design plans, working with sub contractors, long days and longer nights, Kranki Kraft is gorgeously sleek, sexy, beautiful and perfect - well, almost perfect if you ignore an odd switch placement (or 2) and some inexplicable measurement flaws by the carpenter. V finally has a place he can work and think and generally just hang out and the euphoria hasn't quite hit home yet.

After a gestation period of almost nine months, the Kranki Kraft showroom has grown from company inception to a full fledged 800 sq ft stand alone showroom - our very own baby. And before our baby is ready to face the world, do let the proud parents show off their latest creation.






We'll take you on a guided tour of the new showroom in our next post - we've been so busy finding all the right colours, materials, accessories and furniture for our showroom, we've hardly had the time to think straight.
